Solo AR project android app created to be a virtual showroom for various furniture. Inspired by IKEA’s AR.

Place the marker on the desired area and scan it, then the user can choose from a range of items to display on the marker. The app allows the model to recreate itself in the spot where the item would be in scale. This would be useful for imagining spaces where furniture would exist without having to bring the physical item back home just to try it out or rely on measuring tape.

I made use of Vuforia engine's AR marker plugin to create the models rendering in simulated 3D space.
